This session is designed to give an overview of the different movements that shaped the landscape of Photography. We will be looking at how the development of the photographic technology opened up a new vision of the world.

We will be discussing the works of some important Photographers who took to the streets to express their ideas and perceptions of the society. How the camera could capture a slice of the moment to reveal its essence.

We experience space, just as we experience color, light and sound in its rich and complex forms. By looking at the works of Painters, Designers and Photographers we will try to better realize this capacity of experiencing and representing space in our daily lives. 

Portraits are created for a variety of reasons, from the anthropological, psychological or environmental. In this session we take a look at these aspects of a Portrait and it's suggestions in different Photographers' works.

Drawing parallels between Painting and Photography we will be looking at works that explore storytelling through mundane inanimate objects. 

We will be looking at different elements of storytelling that help create a narrative that delivers a compelling photo story.

In this session we will be looking at how putting images together transforms the narrative and creates layers that suggest stories.
